RuneWorks Games
RuneWorks Games is essentially just me, as I’m sure devotee readers have figured out. In the past, as Spectacle Publishing Media Group, I was involved in the publishing of about 13 fiction books. I also created and co-wrote the original Darkest Age (OGL/D20) under that brand. The book is still available, of course. After we disbanded SPMG, I held onto the rights and all the stuff. I recently reincorporated as RuneWorks Games, LLC, with the intention of bringing on partners to help design and write games, as well as grow the business. 

I grew up watching small companies, small publishers, and game companies make the coolest products ever. I want/need/must do that! As a neurospicy person, I realize that I’m sometimes difficult or at least not the best communicator. But making my own games has been a life goal. So here we are. 

In an effort to keep making these games, I’ve decided to branch out and offer some other products. Yes, yes, games are what I do, but everyone needs a good T-shirt, so I’m now offering those. As well as puzzles and posters of our amazing cover art. We’re also expanding into 3D-Printed Terrain and Miniatures. This is all going to happen in stages, of course, because I’m still working on the TTRPG stuff. But the T-shirt proof has been ordered. I bet two weeks, and that will be ready, maybe sooner. We missed the holiday season, but that’s okay. This isn’t so much about capitalism as it is a way to fund other game projects and make sure contributors are compensated for their fair time.
